We are all about filling the stockings of our loved ones this time of year. Our brightly colored socks hung by the chimney with care will no doubt be filled with sweet treats and trinkets intended to spark a smile on Christmas morning. But on the four Sundays of Advent leading up to Christmas, we are looking to fill our faith stockings with gifts of lasting joy. As we wait for the Celebration of God’s greatest gift at Christmas, Jesus, let’s remember his birth.
