From the Pastor's Pen

Pastor Sally’s Devotional 3/10

| March 10, 2021

Dear friends,

Here’s a poem that John Seddon’s sister, Laurie Krakowiak, wrote for her Lenten journey.  I wanted to share it with you.

I start each day with You on my mind,

With intentions of closeness but soon I do find;

That busyness surrounds me and takes me away,

When I lift my head, it’s the end of the day.

So I pray for 40 days of guidance and aid,

To focus on the cross and the price you have paid!

For I know that my sins they are plenty and great,

The observation of my mortality and the human state.

Please strengthen the grace of Christ in me,

That I may serve You ever faithfully,

I reach for counsel with Your hand in mine,

As I am the branch and You are the vine!

Blessings,

Pr. Sally
