Pieceful Quilters Deliver Masks to Elkhart General Hospital

| March 27, 2020

Marsha Stackhouse delivered 41 home-sewn surgical masks from the First Presbyterian Church Elkhart Pieceful Quilters to Elkhart General Hospital Friday March 27.

Despite sudden shortages of the elastic used in the masks, members of FPCE and friends who are not church members have been working hard to cut and sew masks to temporarily aid in the control of Corona virus Covid19.

The masks are especially useful for patients and staff, saving the high performance PPE masks for first responders in the ER and Coronavirus areas.

Other members of Pieceful Quilters who are not officially FPCE members have also been donating masks. Please send us photos of donations and other acts of kindness and gratitude in our community.
