PIECEFUL QUILTERS

The Pieceful Quilters, founded in 1999, is a small group open to
church and community members who enjoy the creative process of fiber
arts and the fellowship of others. As a group we have completed Comfort
Quilts for bereaved, Quilts of Valor for service persons, Commemorative
Quilts for special occasions and more. Individually we hone our skills in
the design and execution of personal projects. This year we are working
in conjunction with Elkhart General Hospital to provide lap quilts for
chemo patients plus baby quilts and sleeping sacks for infants. We meet
once per month during the school year to show our work and get support
from one another. Any interested person may attend.

October 2021 Quilt:

I love elephants. Who doesn’t?  This quilt was a challenge and took many hours to complete.  All the elephants were cut out separately from mostly batik fabrics.  I added button eyes.  It was made for no one special so I will hang onto it for awhile.  I completed it in September of 2019.
