Worship is where we come close to God, and encourage each other with God's love
Worship is all about discovering a modern faith for today. Our worship is designed to be creative, hopeful, relaxed, conversational, and fun. We are fascinated by Jesus, but we also want to ask questions and take our time answering them. We want to hear the stories of the Bible and listen for what God might be telling us. Doctor Sally Wicks is our teaching pastor. She has lots of experience and education but she also has a way of helping us meet God in a new ways and imagine a life of faith that is possible!
9:00 AM Traditional Worship
Traditional Worship meets at 9:00 AM in our beautiful sanctuary. The traditional service is classic in style but the message is very in tune with whats going on in our world today. The worship is reverent with mostly classical or jazz music offered on our pipe organ or grand piano, but we also like to have a little fun. There are bulletins to help you follow along and hymnals for singing. And the people who attend this service are great -- warm and friendly. They will be happy to welcome you and your family.
11:00 AM Journey Café Worship
Journey Café Worship is a newly formed faith community who worship in our newly renovated worship café. The new Journey Café is designed for conversation. The atmosphere will be relaxed and friendly. Attendees sit at tables with our coffee, tea, and snacks. There is time in worship to chat and maybe meet a new friend. There are also special opportunities for children in Café Worship with a Kid Chat and Children's Corner to explore. Journey Café Worship is honest, relevant, and real with a great worship band leading us with upbeat, contemporary music.
