Crop Walk

Dust off your Walkin’ Shoes for CROP WALK on Sunday, October 6   Immediately after church on Sunday, Oct. 6, we’ll again be joining in Elkhart-based Church World Service’s annual “CROP” Walk Against Hunger. FYI, a quarter of the local funds raised will benefit the C.C.S. Food Pantry!  The trail starts at Island Park at 1:30 PM, and always has a “short” and a “longer” path.

So … what do we need?  WALKERS – if you’d enjoy getting some exercise with good company. Or if you prefer, SPONSORS, if you’re able to support a walker with a modest (or immodest) donation. WALKERS will need to pick up a Donation Envelope & Donor Form – they’ll be available through September at our upstairs Welcome Desk, in the Bridge, or the Office. Or see Tom LeFevre, this year’s Team Captain.

Mary & John Seddon will again staff a cookie & water station along the route, and cookie makers will be needed. So please speak with Mary or John in mid-September for details on cookie delivery and timing.

Walk on!
