Pastor Sally’s Devotional 11/2

| November 2, 2020

Dear Friends,

As we move away from All Saints Day, I want to say that I am impressed with the saints in our church.  I continually feel blessed to be working alongside such faithful Presbyterians.  Last night a significant group of leaders met in anticipation of our Celebration (Stewardship) Sunday.  They were enthusiastic about reaching out to all our members to make sure everyone was invited to the zoom catered luncheon following worship next Sunday.  I didn’t have to ask twice.  They were excited to share this opportunity.

Earlier that day a small team of elders and deacons met to offer Drive Through communion after worship.  I don’t mind telling you it was a frigid affair.  Just look at this picture of John Seddon!  Everyone of the them was pleased to be able to serve our church even if it did take most of the afternoon to thaw out our fingers!

The faithfulness of our people astounds me.  The love for our church is steadfast.  I suppose you all reflect the love and faithfulness of our Father in heaven.

Peace,

Pr. Sally
